What did you do in the garden today?

I wish the ones where I live tried. Instead, they're nothing but a bunch of sensationalists hoping for another f5. 🤬
I was on academic scholarship for OU to be a commercial meteorologist. I wound up in the trades here in California. Now I install meteorological equipment and program it for big PV solar plants.

We got our first freeze. I'm away, camping in the mountains. But I'm ready to put up my hoops when I get home tomorrow.

Panned up some color this weekend. Going to pan one last time tomorrow.

Woo hoo. :wee You rich now. Gonna buy your own jet airplane or a yacht first?

My house is five city blocks south of '99 and three north of '13. The prognosticators need to understand people are sensitive around here. Instead they go about like Chicken Little bawking how we're going to get 4-6 inches of snow and there's barely a dusting. Or that there's a 70% chance of heavy storms and no rain at all falls. Or that it's going to be a beautiful summer night with a slight possibility of sprinkles in areas only for us residents to be woken up at 2:30 and again at 3:10 by the tornado sirens going off and rains so heavy you barely make out the streetlights through the downpour. I don't ever recall Gary England being like that.

It was better before the technology took over the weather forecast because if they said 60 percent chance of rain then you knew to take the umbrella and if they said 50/50 percent chance of rain then you probably won't need the umbrella but when it was higher than 40 percent then it was cool nothing to worry about
