Let's see, I am always up early, not by choice but by animals. Took the dogs out, fed them and cats, fed horses, let chickens out, came in and started cooking, cleaning, dishes. I try and do most of my cooking for the week on Sunday because by the time I get home from work I feel like I have been hit by a train, back out, cleaned coops lightly, filled all the feeders and waterers, daughter cleaned the barn and carried in some hay, got grains ready for PM. I actually was kind of caught up on the laundry so let that slide. Took dogs for a walk, it was a beautiful windy fall day.
Was thinking of putting up the plastic on the coop doors and getting all the heated buckets and bowls out but decided that can wait till next weekend. Supposed to be cold tonight but warming up tomorrow.
Was in the shower by 5:30pm, heard the dogs barking and flipping out, got out of the shower no one was here. Oh well. Went out at 6:15pm to lock up the chickens and there is a wooden crate in one of my chicken pens. I open it up and there is a RIR youngish hen and a little tan mixed bantie girl. I found a friend of mine some chickens and ducks on craigslist and she must have went and picked them up today and dropped these two off for me!!!!!!
That was my day and I really wish tomorrow was Sunday again.
