What did you do with your flock today?

Oh my goodness, drama, drama, drama. I feel like I am in Chicken High School. Girls are squabbling over nest boxes big time, tossing each others eggs out of the boxes, hogging and switching their favorite box everyday this week. So today I go to yesterdays favorite box and find no eggs but the box they never use has 6 eggs in it now and tomorrow???? Who knows. Their chicken alarm goes off 2-3 times a day now too. What a ruckus! I don't remember all of this last spring, must be the roosters :th

Well today I just fed, watered and scrapped. This morning my very DH brought home some very nice beach wood for the roo's so I will get started on their roosts and step ups later this eve. What a guy!!!

I put an add in for the kittens *gulp*. They are really sweet to have around. Maybe no one will respond to the add :D I don't mind hanging on to them one bit.

Last eve I brought them in to "socialize" then quickly asked DH to watch them so i could jump in the shower and bathe his dog. I came back out to some serious bonding (just as planned!)

Too cute not to keep. I hope you tell who ever calls that they’ve already been adopted (by you.)

You are making miss having kittens around! Normally we have a pretty steady stream of fosters but right now we’re taking a bit of a break.

Those are the cutest!! 😍
My girls have also been really fussy, but thankfully they haven’t been as bad as yours sound. Just noisy. XD
One of my neighbors mentioned he could hear them, and while it wasn’t exactly a complaint, I’ve been trying (and probably failing) to keep them quiet.
It must be because of spring :idunno

On Monday I trimmed everyone’s nails again, but I also had to cut two of Phil’s. She was a major squirmy wormy, but the other three were expecting it and I had no problems with them. I did end up cutting one of Coco’s nails a little short, but I didn’t need to use any cornstarch, since it completely stopped bleeding after a minute, maybe less, of direct pressure. They also got to visit the grass for a little bit today. I’ve been rotating the caged birds around so they all get some green time.
