What did you do with your flock today?

I turned all the coops loose except the pet almost two year old Cornish Cross hens, Legs, and a pen of 2 month old chicks I don't want to expose to hormonal young cockerels. It's rainy here today and I don't like the Cornish gals getting soaked to the skin. They don't mind and will wander around in it all day long. They still lay the occasional egg and seem healthy at this time.

I taught the pet silkies and others how to use the new ramp they got yesterday how to go back down it. They went up just fine last night but were nervous about the trip down.
I gave up with ramps on my coops after every single bird 'long-jumped' over it both on the way up AND the way down - for over a week! You'd think they were playing the floor is lava.
