Crossing the Road
She's 5 months old this month on 13th.How old is she?
Can take a photo of her?
I've noticed her comb puffing up some and I don't see her sister's comb doing that.

I know! Sorry ... but she is everything I ever wanted in a girl!!! She's very small and petite compared to her sister n brother...and she's a cuddle bug! Her beard is getting massive...but I have noticed her new feathers coming in on her crest have the same penciling/lacing whatever is the official term on them so it will lighten her head up...She’s seriously gorgeous![]()
That is cool! I hope to one day to let my kids do that kind of stuff with FFA or 4H. But I don’t know anything about it. I grew up in the country but never did anything like that. Though I didn’t have much interest since I didn’t like the teacher. She was known to sleep with students. Some how she always got away with it. I found her repulsive and I never took any class she took. Anyway!!! That is just neat! The lady I sold some dwarfs to entered them in a bird show and won first placeView attachment 3252707Of course, showing dwarfs isn't the same as recognized breeds, and they were probably the only dwarfs there. But I'm tickled because I sold her a roo that I felt had imperfections (I made sure she knew the roo was imperfect) and a hen I felt was perfect. The hen won and the roo didn't.

I don't know anything about it either. I had a friend who did shows and a neighbor who used to...both had the most gorgeous birds. The one lady raised Phoenix and each show roo got his own round pen with a deep bed of wood chips. Huge pens! With no other birds to damage the tails and nothing for those long feathers to catch on, they'd end up with the most magnificent tails. Just beautifulThat is cool! I have wanted to get some with the pretty tails but I don’t see them staying pretty unless I would put them separate from everyone. And I wouldn’t want to do that. I hope one day you can get a yoko roo one day! When you do I want pictures lolShe's adorable!

She wants me to try it with a yoko roo cause all my birds end up with tail damage. Maybe someday!
I hope you can find them a home. The lady I got the calls from originally had a hard time finding them homes. I don’t know what she has left, if any. I’m hoping for at least a pair when the coop is done. But I don’t want to contact her before we get it done just in case we can’t finish it for one reason or another before winter. But she took orders for babies and then all of them backed out. Know though she is going to require a deposit. Which I would totally do for more calls. Anyway, I’m wondering if it’s just some off year or something. She said she normally didn’t have a hard time finding them homes and it kinda seems like you might be too. Maybe you will start getting hits on it soon.Today I moved Chubby and Peeky in with Bonnie and Clyde. Clyde was so happy to see them. Bonnie on the other hand kept her distance and quacked her head off. It definitely looked like she was protesting...so maybe I was premature
. I waited for bedtime to move them so it could be as low stress as possible for the duckies. I'll have to watch them tomorrow and see if Clyde is still giving Bonnie some friendship.
Think I might keep one pair of the bibbed ducks too...maybe. I put up an ad for the extra ducks and haven't had a serious inquiry yet this round. I gave three calls to one friend and the fellow from the mountains keeps reminding me he wants some...so if they don't sell and I keep one bibbed pair, I think they'll all have good homes still.
I’m glad it cooled down for you to be able to spend time with them! Here’s to cooler temperatures!!Happy Friday! Last day of 100+ degrees for the next 10 days!it actually cooled down enough for me to spend a bit of time with the babies
