Thank you!!! We are excited as we thought we would have all grandsons since my DH is 1 of 11 boys and only 4 girls in family of 15!

I don't have room either but I'm always thinking lolol!

Been busy few days with human family here! Not 1 new grandbaby on the way but 2...yep two! BOTH our daughters are pregnant at the same time 3 weeks a part! Insane! And both are girls!!!. We only have grandsons from them both til now! So pretty exciting! Still early but praying for healthy babies and momas and sweet big brothers!!!
Looking forward to much slower day tomorrow with my babies!

How exciting that you get TWO granddaughters!! That’s super fun they get to experience it together as siblings and moms! I can’t wait to be a grandma someday! Babies I can spoil and love on and then send home with Mom and Dad

Happy Tuesday friends! Hope you are all doing well. I am in a good mood today...it was breezy and 63 this morning and I sat out with the chickens for almost two hours and even got a bit cold. It was GLORIOUS

I got lots of happy chicken pictures and lap visits

That is awesome! About the temp it was here yesterday and this morning! It was a bit chilly but I know the chickens loved it! Your birds are just so pretty! I see you in crocs and there is now way I can with mine my boots aren’t even high enough. If I don’t pay attention to them the peck at the back of my legs.

They are stunning! Wonder what they would look like bred with a Satin!? I LUV me some cheeky cheeks and big ole beards!!!

@grammasBB how fun to be enjoying family. How are you feeling lately? Not overdoing it I hope. How long until a complete heal?

Welp. I had 9 out of 36 bags left last eve. I am officially out of my poly thread up here but ordered and am taking the chicks and heading down the mountain this morning. Will pick up my mail and head to Lihue town with DH. Need feed. Chooks feel neglected though they have been freeranging pretty much all day long. I just miss them. House and yard need my attention too.
Raised the heat lamp yesterday so am on 3am vigil lol. The vampires seem good, bouncing and chasing an occasional moth. I think I hear an occasional "I'm cold" beeps but all are very active and there are warmer spots. They are 2.5 weeks and the temperature is 61°. I have another order for chicks so some of the 27 eggs are pre homed.

Yeah the hens only do it when I’m standing there watching them and I didn’t bring a treat. It always surprises me when they do it and I jump and it scares them a little. The rooster has been crowing whenever I go out there. All I have to do is open my back door and he is at it and they all run to the coop door. I love it!

So my second oldest had her first basketball game last night. It was also the school my Grandpa graduated in. But I wasn’t sure his class picture would be still there since he graduated in 1931. But by golly it was there. My son has his middle name and I took a picture to show my mom, little did I know though that she hadn’t seen it before. Anyway my daughter did so well! There are a few things I need to work with her on but she did way better than I did my first time! And today is her birthday, then tomorrow is another game. Busy busy busy. But she kind of did me a favor and doesn’t want a cake for her birthday. She wants pumpkin pie. So all I have to do is make a crust, make the filling and bake it. No icing. BBBBUUUTTTT my 2 year old threw my a curve ball today and while at my 3rd oldest doctors appointment he threw up. . Doesn’t have a fever and acting normal so I’m hoping it is just some kind of 24 hour bug he got.

We went out to give the chickens more water and my son came following out. I gave them some mealworms so they would stop trying to peck my fingers when I unlock the door. Well all but 2 went for it. And of course it’s the 2 that ALWAYS meet me at the door first. Instead they try to pick on my sons toes, who just offers it to them. On the way back inside he says “chickens bite me. Chickens eat me” oh he is so funny
