What did you do with your flock today?

Oh! Your the one I read was turning the feed bags into reusable, awesome, repurposed bags with handles! I LOVE that you do this, and YOu are on to something! Look at your little stand too?! You got it goin' on! 💕💕🐓❤️
The most exciting part for me (beside keeping them out of our landfill and that they are super cute) is 100% goes to a nonprofit. So it is like a total win-win-win. My husband is still scratching his head a little but I am happy to reexplain good karma to him again. It goes much like the chicken math conversation.

We have 5 hens & 1 rooster.
What we did today was close up the extra pop doors in the coop (originally, a product of major indecision) for the winter We also left the pasture gate open so they can free-range today. We don’t usually let them free-range, but it’s time for them to get some health back after being in a fenced pasture all summer.
1 hen didn’t leave! Ever faithful Ms. Myrtle, our little Barred Rock.

Here’s the pasture they usually hang in. And the little barn they live in.

I have been leaving before they come out of the coop because it is still dark. I went out this morning to check on them. This afternoon I am gong to continue to feed them food out of my hand. Some of my pullets aren't quite sure of me. Work has been so demanding I come home and crash. I need to go back to spending at least ten minutes a day with them looking for problems and enjoying their company. They lift a heavy heart!

What an awesome place and flock you have! Just lovely 😍. Is it getting cold already? Still looks lovely, green and fresh. Barred Rocks are terrificly smart chickens.

A few yummy snacks and I am positive you will be back to being the apple of their eye... or mealworm of their eye but that sounds disgusting... but you all know what I am saying 😂
Sorry about your workload. Hope it eases soon.

It looks amazing!!! I love the added horseshoes and it fits right in! :love :celebrate
Thanks Ms @kurby22 . I'd love for there to be good movement on the bags so I am not the crazy lady who lives in a little cottage with no space but 100s of sewn feed bags. Heck of a nervous tick.
