Wow! Have you candled it to see if it's a double yolker?

I haven’t yet but I’m pretty positive it is. I had one a little while ago that was big for the sexlink too but not even as big as this one, and it was a double yolker. I’m honestly wondering if there might be 3….it’s a long shot for that but that is how big it is. Just crazy! I will have to try to candle it to see what I see in it.

Ducks are enjoying the garden again and still like to follow me around and nibble pond goodies off my hand. It's been a year since they've had garden time so I wasn't sure if they still would. Makes me happy.
Putting them to bed was fun though! I went in their coop and started quacking to call them and one cat and two dogs came running in. The ducks threw a fit and chased them right out View attachment 3346793

Lol that is just so funny! I can visualize that! They are just so pretty. I wish mine would follow me, maybe I will get lucky when I get some babies . Mine currently would see how fast they could leave the property.

Good job on the papaya. Know that can't be easy.
The canvas for the grandkids will just be a photo print. Sorry should have been more clear. I'm sure they will send me a photo of the photos

@Shetland lover your kitties are trouble makers and probably responsible for some grey hairs. I'm surprised they don't get belly aches from the poinsettia and leave it alone. What a lovely menagerie antics and all.

That means the canvases are guaranteed to be gorgeous. You have such lovely birds and take amazing photos of them.

I've never seen a triple yolker! We used to have hens that laid double now and then. The kids always went nuts for those... you'd think it was Christmas the first time they got one

Ya ..our first trio are the sweet hearts. The babies since weren't played with the same and are pretty indifferent to us. But we sure loved up the first ones and they pay it back beautifully.
Need to break my foot again so I spend hours sitting with them and spoiling them, then all our babies would be that sweet

I haven’t heard of a triple either but it would cool…she laid another funny one today. It looks like she started developing the one today while the other was still there. I don’t know even if that is possible but it is not soft…

I wish I had these ones as babies. We are going to get some babies from the lady we got these from so maybe I will have a chance then. I don’t know that I would want to break a foot. I tore my ligaments in my foot and that was SSSSOOOO painful!

Having fun outside and had to share. Sargent Schultz came to visit me in the garden today! Hoping he'll do like Nutters did and make garden hangout time part of his routine. Well, unless he starts bringing a ton of ladies with him...one chicken in the gardens a pleasure....a whole flock is destructive. I am so excited…my awesome husband found YupYup a few friends! Unfortunately they are Nigerian goats and he will be a lonely Pygmy goats. Nigerian is the breed I wanted to start off with but it’s ok! We have 2 boys coming that are fixed and are only 2 days younger than him and a one girl. The girl though is 9 months old and pregnant by like 2/3 weeks. So we will have more coming around the end of April. I’m excited my little guy will have friends!
