I stopped soaking Iris, and instead started on Papa Smurf. Since Iris isn’t limping, and so far he’s not getting any better, I decided to give him a little break.

On Papa’s first soak in Epsom salt, I was able to get the scab off and some of the bumble out. Unlike Iris, it’s only on one foot.
It’s so much easier treating her, since she’s a good 8lbs lighter than Iris.

Imediatly off with the bandage, But good job gettting a good start at it.
I have made plans to take on a ameraucana banty from a gal here tomorrow .. Thankfully they are able to meet us at our Costco which is midway for both parties

What’s wrong with the bandage? It’s a lot looser than it looks in the picture, and I was careful to make sure she still hand circulation and could move all of her toes. She was bleeding a bit, and it felt weird leaving her to walk without some kind of cushion
