Me and my helper were back to sewing bags today.

Caught a bandit or two coming to rob the cats of their leftover crunches. Good thing we made a gate

Finished off the rest of my soursop with my pals. Sooo good.

Went and played with Henavier for a bit and they definitely have black and white feather tips. I wasn't mistaking other patterning for black spots.

I need to start saving/bookmarking articles when I'm reading so I can re-read them. Too tired right now to re-find what I read last night. But definitely want to re-read it. At any rate Millie and oegb spangled are both based on mottling not spangled genes.

Yay...I learned something!

But too tired tonight to think about anything.

Beautiful birds! I'm new with 8, oops now 10 chickens. Just added 2 rescues. A 4 wk old silkie and a 12 or so wk old bcm. My flock is 7 sapphire splash and 1 light brahma. I'm trying to integrate. My flock is not being very friendly. It is not an overnight job. I always spend a lot of time with the flock. Right now the 2 new additions need me more. The black copper Maran female and the silkie are bonded like crazy. Just got them on Sunday. I believe the silkie thinks the Maran is her mother. Physically in rough shape but coming along nicely. We definitely need a roadtrip (watertrip, airtrip) to take in some of the beauty yall got over there!!!

@ChicksnMore genetics is one thing...but then identifying what each of the babies has is a whole other! That is why I just need to enjoy what I have and stop making goals that are so outlandish! Good luck to you as you go through learning it all and implementing it too! I'm excited to see what all you learn and how it goes for you!
