What did you do with your flock today?

I brought my bunny outside for the first time today. The birds didn’t know what to think of her, but she’s pretty happy to get some fresh air.

Iris looks tiny in this pic. He looks like he’s riding on Molly’s back. XD

I'm kinda like What Have I NOT Done With My Flock Today?!!
I checked and fed their mealworms. Fed, cleaned waters, scraped poop boards and dusted. The littles were fighting like roosters so I had to separate, cleaned Mazie up after her dirt bath, broke up a hen squabble over A nest box- the meanest one I have seen to date between sr & jr. Caught 3 lizards and a bunch of bugs. Got their laundry all cleaned and put away. Little Princess Peaches thought I was not paying enough attention to her so she jumped up on the gate I was painting, it's to keep them off of our front lanai, so kinda pretty much for them- I then needed to toss some scratch away from where I was working to keep them away and fixed the damage. And I am still battling those blinkin' mites I discovered yesterday. This may be my biggest battle yet :barnieand only one distant box had, I scrubbed and doused all boxes yesterday but I feel like they are everywhere. Oh well, keep plugging along....

Aloha gang and happy Saturday!
Well yesterday was the day!!! I put my last coat of paint on the gate and then DH and I cleared off and under my garden table and moved it out of the spot it was in because that is where the bachelor/mating coop is going to be!!!!!
DH is refurbishing a friends trailer so we were able to scrounge enough old 2x12 from it for our base -total bonus. I'm hoping we can get this finished in a week or so. Wish us luck. :fl
Trying to figure out how this all started with a few chicks a few years ago... All I wanted was some cute chickens and a few eggs for the family... 🤔:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy

Ohh my I was going to have 6 barred rock no rooster
37 birds later .. Okay I had two real EE, those went to friend I could catch them. So the two I had where from my Postal Bud. One went broody but left the nest for another nest box day 3 .. Took them and a few more for my little incubator. She is in the broody buster now.
Last night the other EE lay dead on floor ? No sign of damage :idunno

Too funny @penny about the 6 BR and 37 later... My worst was 60 in all but I was selling chicks so thinning as I went. The whole thing was a good fun juggle... now it is just a juggle that I worry about dropping the ball with... :barnie I gotta say one thing I have learn with my chicken keeping is it ebbs and flows, rains and shines, good days and bad but they all turn good again in the end so I keep on. With my wounded hen, a recently diseased, a mite outbreak, 4 chicks to raise and rehome (mite free), 4 new layers and 2 caged roosters and 2 roo's active in the flock, I would be kind of insane if I was not twitching a little right now. The separating alone is an art form. :thAn exhausting art form.
