What did you do with your flock today?

I will happily share my 6 kids with you!

My youngest in school who is 5 got student of the week last week and then this week got a PE award. I’m like you all sure you got the right kid?? Your for real sure?!?! This kid lives up to her name! How is she so good for you all and not AT ALL at home?!? I demand prof! 🤣 :lau :gig
I can't imagine 6 kids. My three were a lot of work... but I was solo. No good man then... but still. Lots of work.
Congratulations on the awards! That is terrific and bet your youngest feels great too ♡♡♡ Keep up the good work momma!

@ChicksnMore my grandkids are far away and I guess that is what chickens are for... ♡♡♡

Oh.my gosh good morning 😂 you people are funny today! Must be the moon 🌛😉

Yes, @Gammas Bearded Babies I crush up a regular 600 mil people calcium pill and sprinkle 1/2 on a favorite food 2 x in a day. Some people get their chooks to swallow a whole 500 MG pill. I'm not there yet. Not sure which byc member it was who beautifull explained the difference in calcium, absorbency, it's benefits and the hens need. Super cool. Anywho to sum it up kinda- oyster is slow, people calcium is quicker and she will expell the excess safely. Do you think you could get some one to set you up with a little more than lukewarm tub of Epsom salt and water so you could give her a 20 minute soak? Give her a gentle under belly massage? Also, have you seen her poop? Keep an eye out for that. Sometimes egg blockage will block their poop and make them sick.

@FBMcrazy8 I like to give my DH credit where credit is due ♡. It seems to make him like me more. But I will keep an eye out for a big bubble head just in case 😂😂😂
😂 😂😂😂 I’m sure it’s floating around already.

He is a good man and I love him! He said he is honored (now you did it :lau)

The first three was from a boy like that. And yeah I say boy cause he is like a toddler. He had nothing to do with our kids when we were married and only worried about that next alcoholic beverage. When we separated and I divorced him he still wanted nothing to do with the kids. Until I got remarried and then all h e double hockey sticks broke loose. After he was engaged 4 or maybe 5 times in 6 months to yes that many women (I’m so not making that up), he finally remarried and after that, it all stopped. She is like my saving grace! I will cry if they get divorced!

6 kids isn’t bad. However having the one and only boy being the baby is crazy. I went to pick some stuff up from an auction and he wouldn’t just stay with me and getting into stuff that wasn’t mine. So I put him in the stroller and it was like I was killing him. A lady came over to check on him and she said it was someone was cutting off his arm. Yup, awesome! He is like his dad though and they are very persistent on what they want. And he wanted out. One day I know I will miss this…..I try to take every moment and cherish it. Some things are just easier than others.

1st, we married the same man 😕 cept mine was that way in the marriage lol. Don't miss him one bit. He never did engage with his kids, pretty much act like we never happened which use to hurt but the pain drove me for years (and years). Now, life is way different for me and I wake everyday grateful to my core even when grumpy lol. And I notice the more grateful I am, the more wonderful comes my way.
Close grandkids would be wonderful but I don't blame any body for not having kids right now. I'm nervous for the grandkids I have now. Good news is they got great parents.

Meanwhile.... 36 more bags to go. So 4 full days easy.

I've sewn about the same amount so far, many already gone.

And laundry for one old gal who lives in shorts and T's, plus chicken chores. That's my day today.

I can't imagine 6 kids either...wow that must be a handful! I had 2 and had them 10 years apart. I got a late start on kids so was only going to have one, but we had the most wonderful accident and ended up with two 😍.
Best accident I've ever had!

I've read that calcium citrate has the best absorbancey for people...do you remember which was recommended for chickens?

I bet your honey smiles a lot too then 😃.

Waiting for everyone to be ready to leave for a football game and thought I'd share how the duckies are doing.

Clyde, Peeky and Chubby are back to hanging as a trio and poor Bonnie was definitely the odd duck out. So I put the mountain man's pair of bibbed ducks in and sure enough...Bonnie made a beeline for them.

I'm still going to keep Bonnie and bet that by spring they'll have made friends. If not, I know just who to give her to.
Poor little Bonnie!

I brought Schultz out to stretch his legs in the garden too. No change with him. He's doing ok but not quite normal yet. He didn't care two figs about garden time...but he did find the dogs fascinating...lol. That's all he wanted to do, hang out on the porch and wander from dog to dog and stare at them.

I’m glad Schultz seems a bit better!! Dogs are way more interesting 😁😁 He’s just so pretty!

You going to the Arizona game?? That should be fun!

Well...so far all the fun has been in the pre-game festivities 😁. But we're in the stadium, the game hasn't started...and I'm on my phone because it's sooo much fun! 🤣
Yep ..wildcats against Mississippi! Not expecting our guys to do great, but fingers forever crossed right?
