What did you do with your flock today?

My flock is so big now, too big but thinning may cause boy problems and I don't want boy problems. I'm like super stoked hitting this elusive 2 calm roo flock status. Feel like I should write a book or sign autographs or have a plaque or something to commemorate this moment. Did I just jinx it?!! 😳

Yes, everyone in the flock is a nosy rosy with new or returning birds!! They are usually just nosy, but the boys can be a PIA. I'm glad Hope has a chance to wander and be left alone. I sometimes let Fluff out in the area when none of the others are allowed for that reason. It makes him happy to wander without being accosted.

I agree that you should be at the very least getting a commemorative plaque! I hope you didn't jinx it! Gotta go touch wood now :D

Well, went to check on Hope and could not find her. MiA! She had hopped the fence and was in the yard wandering solo. Guess, once again, I was out smarted by chickens... lol

Soooo tired. Today consisted of yard work before the sun rose, triming a Lhasa Apso, some phone back and fourth w/ KCCP, Boo and I going to speak with folks and get some accounts and feeding horses and cleaning up hooves.
In between was gardening with chickens and enjoying cats. I'll be spending the next week sewing like a bandit. Yippee!
 
Had two grandsons spend the night Thursday night so mom n dad could enjoy cracker barrel turkey dinner only served on Thursdays then they decided to not go...preggo cravings - real thang!
So I began yesterday pooped!
But dug in to makin pumpkin pancakes from scratch!
I rearranged the run last night as I was tucking em all into bed so they been real busy this morning! Hardly any crowing at all!!!
Definitely not gonna use the basket box I have used previously as they are picking the baskets a part lol!
So gonna go in a hunt hopefully this AM for the old timey vintage nest box!!!
