What did you do with your flock today?

I'm still not completely unpacked but got all the kids trinkets taken care of yesterday and spent a few hours on my garden and beasties. Last night's dinner came mostly from my garden and it was a pleasure.

I got to say hi to all my favorite birdies. Schultz let me scoop him up and give him a hug, Henavier sat on me for a bit, Sir ClucksALot did his little drop winged dance for me, Clyde, Chubby and Peeky nibbled duck weed from my hands....and Oregon tried to eat my toes, nose, clothes, fingers etc. Lunatic looks lonely so I'm going to try to get his indoor cage set up today. Then I can let him out to just hang out with me.

Today I get to go pick up my Gremlin puppy I left with my old friend. I'm looking forward to seeing her fluffy butt.

I spent a few hours ironing my floor with a towel trying to pull the water out of it . So now I can add ironing laminate floors to my list of things I never thought I'd do! I'm so glad we don't have carpet at least!

Sounds like everyone missed you!!! I have never even heard of ironing floors so your up one for sure on me !

Nearly all are going through dry fowl pox right now so the drop in laying is expected, but it will get better again.

Still a little crazy busy. No coming up for air yet but did scrub waters and filled with vitamins for the crew.
Had to run to town for a waterheater, feed and empty bags I have soooo many bags now! 2 more accounts and a few special orders! Also an envelope for KCCP! Yippee! Still working on signage inbetween it all, need to shadow.

DH is having a blast and being helpful ♡♡♡

And baby girl maaay make a show today. DSD (dear step daughter) started having some contractions last night but they backed off so, today we shall see.

B4 all the above I was sewing a few bags and noticed I was being watched.

Bagged up some horse poop for a fellow gardener last eve. Been cutting the horses grass on top their rations and they love me for it.
Kitties seem to be migrating back into the house. Lots of play attacks and nappers in strange places.

Went to put the chickens away last night and there was another egg! Another brown egg so I’m thinking that it was the same Cookoo Maran. And the egg is just a little bigger. The other Cookoo Maran has a large comb now too. Then this morning the brown leghorn went in and when I got back home there was another egg. Again a little bigger but again the other brown leghorns comb has also gotten a little bigger. Won’t be long!!

It is happening!!! Your egg machine has been turned on! Pretty soon you will be able to not only admire them but eat them!!! Dont worry, collecting eggs stays fun and exciting IMO. Never gets old ♡

Absolutely!! I’m so excited!! And it’s great because even my kids are excited. They come home from school asking if there has been any more

U collecting horse and I'm collecting chicken for my neighbors wanting to start a compost pile! This is what friends are for right?!

@FBMcrazy8 congrats on the eggs!!! Are they laying in the nest box or wherever they plop it down at?
Daisy has been laying 10 days now n only missed a couple days...not bad for a Satin! But she will not lay em in this luxury nest boxes for nothing! I mean I got dried pampered chicken mama herbs in there with nice nesting pads and hung dark fabric up behind the boxes to darken it even....she just hops out and goes back up the stairs to the coop and makes about 20 nest areas, goes in and out the coop bout 20 times then back in finally and plops it out!

I've got 1 BUFF Silkie hatched and 2 external pips! By George I got one!!! Finally!!!
