Wow! Would you come work on mine lol!!! I cleaned and packed em all up for the year (again) and I got 4 of em now!?!


Same here!!! A part of me wants to do away with all technology...go back to simpler times (but much harder!) DDs n I have been discussing now that they both have children and they even are thinking along the same lines! Life is such a rat race and if you are in the "world" so to speak then what purpose does it really have in light of eternity (ok I'll stop there cause I know I prob have different beliefs than others).

I honestly hate technology. Yes it does make like simpler but I also think it makes people lazy. Nobody really lives anymore. Like these virtual worlds??? Why?? I don’t get that. My kids do not have tablets or phones. We only have mine and my husbands phones and really that is just so I can make sure I know what’s going on with school. Otherwise I would have just a landline. We have one computer that works but soon will need to be replaced. My second oldest was bringing her computer home to be charged from the school, and if it isn’t charged and ready, after 3 times (even if it’s just in one day) she gets a detention. I went into the school and told them that if they want her to have the computer than they needed to charge it. I pay taxes and so do many other parents why am I going to pay the bill to charge something I don’t agree with her having ANYWAY. He is letting her charge it at school. And it only comes home if she has homework on it. And I understand the need for them to understand technology but at the same time I don’t want them dependent on it. A lot of kids won’t know what to do with themselves if suddenly they lost internet forever.

And you are free to speak about your beliefs. That is your right and if someone doesn’t agree they don’t need to read it or respond. That is how I feel anyway. I would back you up 100000%

I've seen her on it a few times when I'm down in the yard and NOT giving her treats...but she deserves em after layin her first egg in the right place yesterday!!!

@FBMcrazy8 Lots of people do crap I disapprove of but I only get to control myself.
I cringed when computers were put in schools and having to get one at home etc. But I think I did my kids a disservice in my reluctance- plus I was a single mom and well $$ was hard- I wish I was not so afraid of it and had embraced it sooner. My boys are better off because of being incredibly computer savvy. Playing with bugs, connecting with earth and ocean is for not for all. In the end we only plant seeds and hope they grow.

Good points for sure
I should clarify the overuse of and dependence in them is moreso the problem.
My DH has made a living at computers the past 28 years...so they do have purpose.

I found an egg in the RUN this morning...of course the camera didn't catch who did it!

It was really funny! And they just watched her. And when she got out and left the egg everyone started putting their head in to just look at what she was doing. She of course didn’t do the egg laying song….the one thing I look forward to. Aside from the eggs of course. The curtain material is what was left over from the Made Hatter bow. I figured they wouldn’t mind having it lol

I’m still trying to figure out who all is laying. I only know of 3. Speckles my black sex link, Marble one of my Cookoo Marans, and Lilo one of my brown leghorns. But I do know there is at least 2 more. I got a new brown egg this morning. Don’t know who laid it but it cracked my Black Sex Link egg moving it out of the way . I hope you find who laid the egg!
