A GREAT set of knives.

And Robert had a good Christmas, which means mine was perfect.
 
I got Snoopy jammies, a beret to cover my chemo bald head, lol, and some cute peanuts, snoopy and lucy pins from Mr.& Mrs Santa. DH got sweatpants, long sleeve t-shirst and a UNC-Chapel Hill t-shirt from them too. We got at new washer from them just before Thanksgiving when the old one died.

We have been really poor this year. Between chemo payments, other meds, house payment, truck payment and other bills there wasn't much money left for food let alone some left over for presents. Whatever we could find that we could afford that would fit in a stocking is what we did for each other. For DH I got him a keychain. It has a picture of a cattledogs eyes starying at you that looked like katie. Also a bumper stictker that says "My Cattle Dog is smarter than your Honor Roll Student" I also gave him some Tussy deoderant. Really! We had been talking about some of the air freshner sprays we had bought that were over powering and I told him that his Old Spice Body Wash and then deodorant were really over powering. He told me he used my Tussy when we are on an overnight quick trip and was surprised that it actually worked as well as it did and it didn't smell!!! I got a stocking full of my favorite candy!! I made Christmas Eve Dinner, Lasagna w/ 3 cheeses roasted red bell pepper sause with italian sausage, breshetta with priscutto and motzrella , green leafy salad with artichoke hearts, ham, provolone cubes, Cesear Dressing. DH made Christmas Day dinner---Baked ham studded with whole cloves, cherries & pineapple rings, Potatoe salad

We have enough lasagna and ham to last us a month, lol
 
eenie, that's funny. Tonight my mom gave her son in law a shirt and my sister pointed out that was the same one mom gave him last year but in a different color. At least it's in a different color.


My mom got me home made tea towels from a church bazaar and a muted majenta? ball cap that has embroidered boots and daisys on it and says Life is Good on it.
My girls went to the school bazaar and my 9 year old got me a little platter that has vivid flowers on it. Very cute. And my 4 yr. old got me earings she calls popcorn. It's like 'pearly' balls that are reminicent of popcorn. I thought it was cute and funny.
I was surprised yesterday by my highschool photography teacher and his wife who brought us over frozen Shwanns food: chicken breasts, orange juice concentrates, loaves of multi grain bread, and berry icecream. And a little basket of clementines. They got my girls each a little art kit (she's an art teacher) and a fuzzy pen. And they got me these cute little silver earings with a blue glass bead and a celctic knot charm on the end of the dangley. And also some bath fizz.

I was truly touched that they thought of me and my girls and stopped by to wish us a Merry Christmas.
 
A .22 caliber pearl grip revolver and bullets that I wanted a year or so ago- Id forgot about it. I got ink and photo paper, jammies, gloves, and lots of cool stuff
 
I got a bubble bath & Salt gift basket (pear & Caramel scented)

A nikon Fine Pix camera (dh and I purchased 2 weeks ago to video gift opening on xmas day)
A huge lavender scented candle
some lintdor chocolates
and the best ones were a small hand made box from my 7 yr old DD that contained 2 little candies and a small Christmas star with Xmas ribbon on it, so I could put it on the tree with the rest of the decorations :) and 2 paintings from my dd and my 2yr old ds which are now taped to my livingroom walls :)

In all I have to say there were a lot of gifts under the tree for the 4 of us. but nothing beats a nice home made gift, and watching the kids open their gifts.

ohh ya I forgot I got a new pair of jammies too, how could I forget that!! Jammies are my fav!!
