What did you get your dads for Father's Day?

We got my Dad a Tom tom. I'm still wondering where he is gonna use it. Everywhere we drive we know the way too.

Didn't tell my Dad "Happy Father's Day"...didn't get him a card, no gift.

Spent most of the day at my parents. Both in their mid-70's and age is
catching up. I mowed the yard, weeded the garden. Had an enjoyable
chat with a neighbor who saw Dad and I in the garden and came over.

You know what? I really enjoyed the day. No phone calls, no business
talk. A truely rare day for me.

On the other hand...I live next door to my parents. I ALWAYS mow their
yard. More that I mow my own. I weed their garden because it needs done.

Fathers Day is a date on the calendar. People rush out, buy cards and presents.
I love my Dad every day of my life.

He doesn't need a card to know I how I feel.

Not long ago, it was me that drove him to the hospital when he was sick.
The same me that worked all day, then went to the hospital to stay with
me at night. His first time ever in a hospital...he was scared. Especially at night.
The same me that brought him home from the hopital.

*Embarrassing side effect of pushing myself to hard...working, staying up nights
with Dad and still trying to find time to be with my daughter at play practice...
I fell asleep on the edge of the stage, watching her practice. And yes, when tired,
I might snore.

Dad knows I'm always here...
