What did you name your chicks?

i have some RIR hens my daughter named them all ellie which is her name(shes 4) and the 3 meaties im raising she knows they are dinner so they dont have names'

We named our Buff Orp Mae [West] because she's a blond and has quite a chickie "bosom", we named our Australorp Ella [Fitzgerald] because she's got quite a set of lungs on her and is the loudest peeper. Our 15 other Sussex have various little old southern lady names.

DH just came out and asked what I was doing; told him I was talking to other 'chicken-ers'

He just winced and shook his head, lol. He'll come around! He did for the 3 dogs, a cat and two horses, ALL rescues! After all, he considers himself a rescue...

Lets see. Our chicks names are: (the stuff in the parentheses is why we chose that name)
Airborne (The chicks were shipped here by air so of course we had to name one airborne)
Alaska (I would imagine Alaska is gorgeous just like my little girl)
Comet (She kept jumping off my arm and falling to the ground like a shooting star)
Fluffet (She was fluffy)
Jumper (This one is self explanatory)
Luna (I just thought it was a pretty name)
Penguin (Barred rocks resemble baby penguins as day-olds)
Pipsqueak (She is the runt of my flock)
Tabi (named after my best friend)
Tess (It's short for giantess)
Whitefeather (She was the first chick with a white feather)

And our lil boy's full name is Epic Epidermis (It's an inside joke) and ep-ep for short.

I named mine all after the first ladys of the United States and I have two ducks so I named them Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth. lol

I named my chicks Butter, Bumblebee, Tawny, Tiny Toy, Fluffball, and Scruff. Also my breeding hen and rooster are Romeo and Juliet.
