What did your chickens do to make you laugh today?

Valentina, my Columbian Wyandotte is a girl who LOVES her food. As I was bending over to scoop feed out of one of the metal garbage cans where I store it, she apparently was concerned about my technique. So, she jumped up on my shoulder to get a better look at how I was handling the task.

Had she not sneaked up behind me to make her leap, it would have just been funny. And, it was still funny -- once the initial surprise of being "attacked" escaped from my mouth. I think my yell frightened her as much as her jump startled me.

I have covid so I'm isolating, so I was sitting in my balcony, alone. Suddenly one of my hens, Swiddy appears with her best friend Holdy! Holdy is a "Tiger Hen" aka she's huge!! Twice as much as Swiddy herself! (Swiddy is a normal sized Swedish Flower Hen) Now I was watching them while they were having grass and destroying my mum's flowers. Suddenly, Holdy just pooped possibly the LARGEST chicken poo I've EVER seen with the LOUDEST of "pfff" noise and that alone made me laugh! But then Swiddy came along and tried to EAT it possibly thinking it's an insect of some kind. Then she tried it and didn't like and literally GAGGED like she wanted to throw up and I started laughing soo much that Holdy got startled and made that "KUK KUK KUK KUK" sound and that alarmed my Naked Neck rooster and then HE came running to see what happened. I don't know why but I was just laughing so much that they literally stared at me for a long while just concerned that if I'm going crazy. That's the highlight of my day!

Love the idea of this thread! :)

I'm laughing over here just thinking about it. 🤣 They're so quirky aren't they?
Thank you! I can't go through a day with chickens without laughing at something. I figured it would be fun. :D

Hmmmmm. It’s around 7 PM here and it was raining all day so nothing really:( But I'm certain they will make me laugh tomorrow. Lol
I guarantee it! Even the little things like jumping up on the perch to get to your level, then looking at you funny. I think chickens can do practically anything and its hilarious. My dogs can't make me laugh while they eat their breakfast.

Ooh now I remember! One of my young OE pullets (Penguin) made me laugh. I was trying to get her to move a bit and she stared so hard at my finger😂 It’s crazy how good she is at staring
