From what I know in sleepovers, the male cousins with their friends would be in a room in the basement, watching football, drinking soda pop, farting and belching, comparing muscles and yep, sexual prowness how far, how long, and all the details I'd rather not hear.
Many of it is not true when they come to tell stories about girls and sex.
They also do "one man up ship" with their stories, who is telling the biggest and tallest tall tales stories they can come up with. Like in football, guys would compare how far they can tackle or catch the ball from a 60 yard dash to home goal. Yeah right. Professionals, yes but HS, rarely.
Sometimes they would get out in the garage, tearing a friend's car up, to soup it up or make it ROAR, sometimes the mess they made, they didn't clean it up. Then they had to spend the next day cleaning out, taking out trash and clean up the spills on the floor.
Girl's slumber parties, yeah, plenty of gossips, craft making, sometimes with the older ones, a real B**** fest which it can take the party to a nosedive. Pizzas, fingernail polishes, curlers and rollers everywhere with cotton balls here and there. Sink will have hairs that would make the grown plumber cry.
Haven't had any unisex parties (both girls AND boys, usually from a class) except for the Halloween party for college kids which it was stupid.
