If the chicks don't seem to be distressed, just leave the plugs out and keep an eye on things. Sorry, most of this stuff is a waiting game.

when can you take them out because one or two from earlier are trying to peck at the fan and that thing could take their little heads off! It hurts my fingers to touch. Why don't they think of these things when they make them?????/

Sounds like you could grab them out and not worry about letting out some humidity. Which you've probably already done since you posted this a while ago and I only just now saw it...

Have any more hatched out today? Any new pips? If none of the eggs are pipped right now definitely go ahead and take the babies out. Even if you do have some pips, you'd probably still be safe since you could lose 20% and still be okay. If it goes any higher it'll rain in there.

I know! when it hit 92% I couldn't believe it! They just broke out today and there are some that are still pipping and one or two that are working their way out (still moving) But, like you said, if this one gets any more rambunctious...I will have to do it and it looks like I have some leeway in the humidity....They can come out and go under the light though? They can eat and stuff? Although, they are already trying to eat the egg shells
