What do I do?

My chickens, a flock of 5, have lice AND scaly leg mites. I have tried Vaseline, permethrin spray, and poultry dust... nothing has worked. Is there anything I can do?

where are you keeping them?

We’re in the middle of a move and getting them a new, large, permanent coop, but previously they were backyard free range and slept in a modified playhouse coop.

Can you post some photos of your chickens and their legs?
How often were you applying the Vaseline to the legs?
Did you clean out the coop, remove bedding- treat all the housing including roosting bars and nesting boxes with Permethrin - then repeat the process again in 7-10days? Treated the birds too?
Do your birds have access to loose dirt for dust bathing?
