I recently had 8 chickens free range themselves into my yard. I was hoping they would head back home but it seems they aren't leaving. I did notice today there is a rooster, he is banded and has little spurs. They seem to be all the same breed but that is all I know. The last pic has a light colored one on the left he is the one banded and has spurs.

Im going to guess the are old english game bantams or some type of game chicken. Im not sure though. I know there are chickens that have that coloring i just cant remember the breed.

These are all American game females. I see no males. Spurs can be present on both sexes.

I would ask around for the owner, and ask him or her to take them back. If you can't find an owner, perhaps you can sell them. American games fetch a fair amount of money in some areas.
We have asked around with no luck. We live in a small community. No one has said they are missing chickens or know someone who does. Knowing one is banded I'm assuming there is a way to track them but I can't get close enough to see if his band has a number.
