What do you call this??

Hi all. What name do you use when your chickens are startled and start running fast with their wings flapping? Such a weird question but looking at a way to describe that instead of sounding like I’m rambling

It's a flight response to threat.

They often can get startled by some harmless thing such as a dead branch falling out of a tree nearby. My younger chickens will actually get themselves airborn and fly back to the run for a good thirty feet ten feet above ground level.

That's a good idea... a phrase would probably be better than fly-run

This is easy, it is called CHICKEN.
