What do you do for a living?

I am an EcoBroker (Real Estate Broker) and also an interior designer specializing in green design. My urban chicken keeping is a big surprise when people find out what I do when I'm home- also my many composting projects cause an upwardly mobile eyebrow or two.

I work from home as a medical transcriptionist (for the past 5 years), but am seriously considering going back to school (already have an AAS in Computer Information Systems) to get a degree in radiology and/or phlebotomy (the medical field seems to be the way to go).

DH is a heavy equipment/diesel mechanic for pay, but a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to building and fixing things for our ever-growing flock

I am retired from a book store. I sold books for lots of years. Loved it and love books.
Hubby is a retired Fire Chief. He now trains and consults industry in emergency response. (Part time)
We spend tons of time now with family, church, our yard, garden, animals etc. ..................Life is Good!.............................

Middle school crossing guard for 45 minutes in the morning and afternoon, which allows me to sew every day for our small home based horse embroidery business.We sell on our own website and Ebay. I love what I do!
