I am a hang-in-there.
Started a part time summer job at a paper company 25 yrs ago
while I tried to figure out what direction I wanted to take after highschool ,
I worked from "resource center" where I'd prepare very specific mock ups or samples of paper for printers and publishers...
to company computer technology guru and trainer of any new employee to join the company.
I handle all customer invoicing, contracts now too. Fingers in many many pies.
I've done it all here - down and dirty sales to behind the scenes human resources.
I just keep hanging in there and they keep paying me.
More recently I've started to wonder about changing life drastically - quit and get a job
in a health food store or something I am really interested in the expanding organic market.
- 9-5 and 5 days a week might be nice, doing something that's INTERESTING even better. I;ve seen it all here at this job now.
but the holidays I've accumulated here and benefits are a real perk so I keep on hanging on and cashing the cheques.
