what do you do with the automatic turner on day 18

is it better to leave the eggs in the turner till they hatch or remove the turner and lay them on the side on the wire

You can do it either way...if you leave them in the turner just make sure you turn it off and make sure the eggs are in an upright position.

I put mine in an egg carton!

and you keep the egg carton in the incubator till they hatch? ive never tried that

yep, i put mine in cardboard cartons, with a dime size hole cut out in each egg slot for air, and then after hatch it makes clean up so easy
