OK, You have too many eggs. You sell some, give some away, sell them for hatching, hard boil them and feed them back to chickens (which is limited because you don't want them only eating eggs), you fix them for your family for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

But you still have too many eggs. Throwing them away would seem like such a waste.

Any more ideas than what is listed here?

Senior center? Women/children's shelter? Mission shelter? Ecumenical lunch program? Animal shelter?

All very good ideas above.

Can you broaden your selling. Do you have enough excess to get a spot at a farmers market. Or is there a fresh produce market that would like to sell your eggs.

Is there a little diner near by that may would like your eggs. Imagine Farm Fresh eggs on the menu.

I would hope though that a shelter or mission would take them.

If nothing else, put FREE EGGS on craigslist.

Well...not like you don't eat enough eggs, but in the winter when egg production slows down, if you find that you wanted eggs....
you can scramble the eggs and FREEZE em! (then you can still have "fresh eggs" in the winter)-They stay good for 9 months!!

ahhh I dont think I will ever have that problem-between what we eat-and my mother in law having a mini mart store for campers-in the summers only-I think I will always have a need without extras-But if I did I would bring them to my family members-they live close by.

I don't have eggs yet, since my birds are only a month old, but I plan to make pasta with some of them. Egg breads and egg custards are also very nice for family treats.
