What do you got in the fridge that should not be there?

My sisters resse peanut butter bar??? I must say we don't keep anything funky in our fridge. Wellll there is the lattece that goes bad in the crsiper, and that soft cucumbere...

The only weird stuff in my fridge right now are weird containers of my room mates food. She has one container of brown mush and a TON of containers of grilled chicken. That's not so weird, but she has SO MANY! Weird thing is, she doesn't really have anything except the chicken, brown mush, and bologna. WHAT THE HECK DOES SHE EAT?!

Lets see:

seeds

rotting food that is going to be maggot food for the chickens.....

wash cloths damp and in ziplock baggies

two of DHs T-shirts in the same condition! LOL! Yep....

And two books. Really antique books that had been water damaged. In a frost free freezer you can kill off the mildew.

A few years back the basement refrigerator has a banana that is a gift for someone one Christmas. I think it was nearly 2 yrs old before we gave it away in the Chinese gift exchange that year.

We have a small orange vial full of frozen liquid in the freezer that looks like a spice vial of sorts. I wouldn't recommend that anyone try seasoning anything with it, though, as it contains snow and fluids that DH collected from a spot where a whitetail buck mated a young doe. Then again, I suppose that, if you're a buck in rut, it IS pretty spicy...

We're always finding out of date stuff in the fridge. My dad is a weird one though, if it's a few weeks past its use-by but isn't sprouting mould, he'll eat it. He hates to see waste.

Bleh, my husband is like that. Then he goes on a tear and throws everything out - as soon as he recovers from his tummy upset.

I've pretty much cured him of that.

The weirdest I've gone with the in house fridge is 10,000 mealworms. The fridge in the shop? No telling.

I should amend that. I have had cats and chicken die when I couldn't get a shovel in the ground - I stored the bodies in the shop freezer until it warmed up.

We don't tend to notice bad food in the house because of it. I even went as far to pour the milk onto my cereal before I realised it'd gone lumpy

The thing withh fridges is that with small country stores, their pies and such don't have use-by dates on them. They could've been made months ago and we wouldn't even know

Right now, everything, frig went out today. Ugh, Lowe's, here I come. We have two, the freezer went out in the other one, can anyone say expensive!
