Friday I will be adding welsummers and blue and splash Australorps. This fall I plan on starting a Lavender Australorp project but I don't expect them to be ready for 2 or 3 years.

Things have changed since I last posted in here. I might as well throw up an updated list.
1 buff orpington, 2 easter eggers, 1 barred rock, 3 rhode island reds, 2 black sex links, 1 bantam polish and my little roo, who I believe to be OEGB X easter egger (the one in my avatar).

2 Isa brown hens
12 Isa brown young pullets (8weeks)
4 Amber Link pullets (8weeks)
1 Buff Orpington/Dominique cross hen
2 "Gypsy Chicken" hens ( they have an extra toe, are wild, and broody, and only want o sit and hatch and raise).
3 chicks of unknown origin and sex, and an Ameracauna/"Gypsy Chicken" cross rooster.
(and one of those "Gypsy Chickens" is setting right now on a nest of six eggs (our choice), due to hatch in 4 days).

And we have bunnies and newborn bunny babies as well as cats and dogs.

Hello! We're new here (although, I've been creepin' for quite some time now) and this is my first post, I figured it was a good place to start!

We have 7 chickens right now
2, Splash & Black Ameracaunas
1 Black Copper Maran
1 Barred Rock
1 Easter Egger
1 Blue Croad Langshan
and a White Crested, Black Polish Rooster who is quite the comic

Only my EE and the Barred Rock are laying currently, but my Langshan is getting close!

The cool thing with easter eggers is that you can have all easter eggers and still have a varied flock. I had all buff orpingtons a while back and while they were great birds, They all looked the same.
