My family (each and every one of them silly wascals) t

he way my DD's make me laugh until I'm in tears and it hurts to breathe

Our pets
dandelions
clouds
the first pops of color as early spring flowers hearld spring
the simply awe inspiring diversity of nature and her creations
anything with feathers
the first ripe tomato right off the vine, warm from the sun
apple pie
the smell of chocolate chip cookies (and the taste!)
that wonderful smell of little puppies.

I could go on that would take awhile. I'll end with this...

the smell of coffee carried on a cool spring breeze, it always reminds me of my father, who I lost 30 years ago and still miss terribly.

Oh, so much...

Being out in the yard or pasture with my kids, chickens, dog, cats and horses wandering around, everyone getting along beautifully.

Cuddling into bed at night with my DH.

Rain on the roof.

Watching a thunderstorm from the covered porch.

Admiring a freshly planted flower bed.

Pulling weeds.

Laying on the couch watching a movie covered in cats and kids.

The smell of a sun-warmed horse.

Laundry fresh off the line.

Laughing with my girlfriends.

Wine.

The feeling you get after a hard workout followed by a hot shower and some comfy clothing.

Driving fast.

Riding fast.

Laying on the dock soaking up the sun, listening to the lake underneath me.

The way my chickens run and flap when they see me coming with treats. Or without treats.

Horses snuffling my hair.

The unexpectedly mature and witty things my kids say.

Being able to still have a great time on a "date" with my DH after 17...gosh almost 18...years together.

That's probably enough for now.

The smell of lilacs in the evening (scent seems heaviest then)
The wild sweet peas that are ever abundant around my home in the summer
Watching my girls pick wild flowers
Sitting outside in the quiet summer evenings while watching my chickens forage around
The old apple tree on my property. I live where my great great grandparents lived and raised their family -- I like to think about all the children who played around it.
Listening to my girls play nicely with each other. They can be so sweet.
Seeing my hubby working outside all day because he really enjoys it.
The smell of fresh cut grass.
The sound of snow falling.
The first beautiful December snowfall.
The smell of autumn.
Hmm..... I could go on and on.

The cool breeze on a hot summer day when a storm is rolling in.

The feeling of my DH arms wrapped around me after a long day.

How excited my Am.Bulldog is to see me when I get home, no matter if I leave and come back a hundred times in a day.

Watching my pig and my dog push each other around on the bed to see who can lay the closest to me.
((Which typically results in a 50lb pig and a 85lb dog both laying on me
lol.png
))

The smell of the dragstrip on race night.

The feel of fresh spring grass or freshly warmed dirt under bare feet.

Watching the sweet side of someone emerge.

Seeing my grandparents or parents truly tickled pink about something.

I love a great many things, way too many to ever list, but here's a small sampling off the top of my head:

My poultry (of course)

All of my animals

The sky and all of its splendor

Music in general, but especially Yoko Kanno's music

Watching anime, anime conventions, cosplaying

Pokémon and my Pokémon collection

Birdwatching

The feeling of releasing a wild animal you worked so hard to save from certain death

Sudden summer thunderstorms (we don't get many of these in California) and warm rain

How wind feels

Getting so into writing, drawing, or sculpting that it feels like it's effortless

The feeling of being truly passionate about something

Autumn in general

The smell of wood fire

The sound of frogs

Being at the animal sanctuary where I work and watching the happy animals there

Watching my poultry enjoying themselves

Watching my dogs playing

The song of the red-winged blackbird

Singing along to music loudly in the car

Looking at art and photographs online for hours and saving the best ones to stare at any time

Watching eggs hatch

The feeling of being in bed and being completely comfortable and not wanting to move (and not having to)

Delicious food when I'm really hungry

Playing Heck with my cousins

Being absorbed in an amazing story

Having a new computer

I could go on and on.
