I do all kinds of stuff. My favorite thing though, is woodworking. Wow, these are beautiful! I especially love the shelf on wheels in the first picture! I could use one of those!

Thank you! I actually ended up putting antique casters on it that look much better than the ones in the photo.

This year I've gotten into multiple different things.. Oil painting, water colors, and probably most importantly spinning yarn and knitting.
The spinning was a whole ordeal as I got some shetland sheep, taught myself to hand shear, processed it, carded it, taught myself to spin it with a drop spindle, then taught myself how to knit. So I'm working on a scarf.

I would SO love to learn to spin! And I love that you went all the way from raising shetland's to get to that lovely scarf!

I would be interested to see some of your paintings if you'd be willing to share any photos of those. I've gotten into painting a little with acrylics this year, but i'm not so good at it. LOL

Acrylics are really good to start out with I think, oil and watercolors are more unforgiving. I really haven't finished much to be quite honest with oil, and the one painting I have finished was a self portrait that I'm not really comfortable sharing, for purely privacy reasons. I do have these little mini watercolors I can share though I definitely recommend trying them, I also recommend getting the little winsor & newton set to start out with.
