What do you think about this feed brand? (Scratch and Peck Organic Chicken Feeds)

It isn't terrible but not something I would feed. Compared to non-organic feed, organic feed generally is not the same nutritionally in that it is less nutritious than non-organic feed. It also is pricy and I can get better quality feed at a much lower price per bag. There are no benefits or advantages that would make me want to feed this over non-organic feed.

I was recommended Scratch & Peck feed by a friend when I got chicks 4+ years ago. I exclusive use it now. I use both the Layer 'pellet' (in my treadle feeder), and the Layer 'mash' formula, wetted. The mash formula has grains, etc separated from all the added goodies which is sort of powdery. I wet it so it's all mixed up, otherwise the girls would pick out and eat the grains and leave the 'powder'. This seems to be a common complaint.
They do also have a Layer 'crumble' formula.
I also use their Starter. And Grower feed. In fact I have 12-weeks old eating the Grower feed now.

Overall I'm very pleased and have no reason to switch to another feed.

I am able to get it locally (I live in Seattle) at pet and feed stores for a lot less than they sell on their website, or Amazon, or Chewys. Still pricier than other feeds you can buy. But I'm also a believer that you get what you buy for.
