He looks to me to be some kind of game fowl or game fowl mix.

For your own safety, and the safety of anyone else who comes in contact with him, I think you should get rid of him. He has already started behaving aggressively toward you and it will only get worse with time.

Do you think I could possibly tame him to be better cus he doesn't attack when he rushes, he just holts like 2 foot away

Some people say it can be done. If you use the search button and check under 'taming aggressive roosters' or things like that you will probably find a link to the posts about it on here. There are also videos out there, so it's worth checking Youtube! as well.

I would act quickly because even though he's stopping short now, in all probability he will grow bolder in time. A full scale attack is very probable, and roosters are also stealthy, so you may not expect it when it comes. It's really important to protect your eyes and protect your legs by always wearing long pants when you enter the coop. Boots aren't a bad idea either.

Under no circumstances would I allow a child anywhere near that rooster. Rooster spurs are no joke and kids are vulnerable.

Thanks a lot
He's such a pretty boy he deserves a chance

One important thing you should know is that a rooster wants to provide food for his hens. If you give food to the hens you act like an opponent.

Give the feed to the rooster and he uses it to please his girls.
There are more tips in a few articles by @Shadrach , like this one.

Bro I try to hand feed him but he wants nothing to do with me, when I enter the yard he goes to the opposite side then when Im giving everyone treats he approaches and seem curious but still won't come 3-4 feet anywhere near me even when I approach him let alone collect treats from me
But hopefully with time he'd adjust

His behavior, staying away from you, is GOOD. If he's just checking out what happens when you handle a pullet or hen, that's fine too. To a point. BUT if he's thinking bad thoughts about you, that's very bad, and will turn into attacks.
Think of this as 'getting experience', but be safe out there! Boots, long pants, awareness at all times, and no other visitors, especially children, right now.
Mary
