What do you use as a waterer?

I have taken a rubbermaid tote and cut down one side... I put foam used to insulate pipes over the edge that I cut down so it will be easy on their necks... then I put the cover on - I have two plastic buckets of water inside. They reach through the hole to get a drink and most of the water stays in the rubbermaid tote. This is the best that I have found for my adult ducks so far. Keeps the pen fairly dry.

My DH made one out of a bucket from home depot and a large plastic saucer (like you would put under a large potted plant). He drilled holes on the side of the bucket about an inch from the top of the bucket. We fill it with water, put the lid on, then turn it over onto the saucer part. It was cheaper than anything at the feed store but required some work.

Depending on which coop. Milk jugs or juice bottles.
Just can in from working on a couple of coops and when they are finished I'll work on 5 gallon buckets and PVC waterers and feeders. But for now I used the other because I we go through a lot of milk and juice in our house. I rinse them out daily, sometimes more and when they get to yucky I just replace them with fresh ones.
I have lots of babies right now and as of yesterday I went from no banties and silkies to 15 total! Got a good deal, so I'm building a couple of tracktors and tryingt o figure out just what I want for my feed and water in each one.
I have a lot of feather footed birds like FBCMs and d'Uccles(these as of yesterday)and 4 silkie roos

so whatever I decide to do I need raised waterers so I don't have to worry about feet and legs getting wet.

The Games, Ameraucanas and Polish are good, but I also like my Polish to not get they crests wet, so they will have to have something easy to drive for yet won't let the crests touch the water.
