What do you use to clean your parakeets toys?

Hi! I have two parakeets and they are not hand trained! But what do you use to clean the poop off their toys!?

I have a wire scrub brush that I find useful, but if there are places where it can't fit, I soak the toys or branches in hot water until I can wipe the buildup off with a paper towel.
