I'll rephrase a bit.

Luxury expenditures here include:

Travel (major trip each year, though not in 2011)
Entertainment (Sat tv, netflix, occasional Redbox rental or DVD purchase, current tv, current dvd players/dvr, concert tickets, travel to concerts & events, theater tickets, etc.)
My Critters...cats, dogs, rabbit, birds, reptiles. Food & other associated costs. Vet bills. Pet care when on said travel trips...

River rafting, bicycle stuff, motorcycle maintenance, coffee, but that wouldn't be too expensive if I wasn't spending everything on the remodel. We have learned to live well on less money by avoiding debt. Lately, I've been so broke that pop-corn has become our official snack but I got most of the kitchen bar done, now I just got to wait a month or two for enough "extra money" to finish it.

I've given up all my expensive habits: Bars, old Volkswagens, coffee shops, tobacco, and women (just one for me, thanks

).
