I saw this movie when I was a kid; I loved it, and bought it a few years ago.

Gotta love Don Knotts! I remember some good, clean movies from my childhood that made quite an impression: The Black Shield of Falworth (with Tony Curtis), Ensign Pulver, and a couple of my more recent (but still old by today's standards!) are Flight of the Navigator, and The Last Starfighter. Good movies CAN be made cleanly!

I loved Mr Limpet too. What was that movie Don Knotts made about the haunted house? I need to find that one so I can watch it again. I love all the old Doris Day movies too. Remember The Glass Bottom Boat? Ah, good movies, good movies.

Need to go to sleep and couldn't so thought I'd check up on some threads and saw this.

The movie was "The Ghost and Mr Chicken." I love old movies.

Steve love the car!

Cars are never a waste of money. Just ask my machanics!

That is a cool car Steve. Great color too. I'm still deciding which I like better. The new Challenger or The Camaro. I've always been a Chevy guy. I guess I'll go with the Camaro.

Don't have money to waste! I hate shopping, I get my hair cut every 3 months or so, if I ever do want my nails "done" I do it myself, and I have 2 boys. I guess the only thing anyone could say I spend money on is gardening and yard supplies, and chicken supplies. But I don't see that as a waste.

Now I have to say that these to things are not waste, they keep my blood pressure down and believe me mine was deathly high, you have no idea.

Wish you all a low reading.

Craft supplies, specifically beads or anything related to making jewelry and accessories.

If I stopped and thought of all the money I've spent on beads, tools, and jewelry supplies over the years, I would probably make myself ill when the numbers start adding up.

Last summer I forced myself to start keeping receipts/track of ALL of my animals/pets' expenses...lasted just a little over 3 months because I just couldn't handle the truth anymore...lol.

As others have said...hobbies give so many psychological benefits. And lower stress generally means better health

And better health means less money spent at the doctor or in therapy...lol. So it all balances out!!

Almost always I don't have any money to waist... but every once in a while I love to get a latte! It helps with the strain of home schooling and 4 wild little kids! My chickens have been earning they're own food moneys (selling eggs and chicks) since about september... so thas not a waist. Id say the biggest waist that we've ever spent was in 09' we got the Husband a 04' Duramax truck and then got new exhaust and a programmer and a few other things...

he uses it in his construction biz. But we didn't need that nice of a truck. Oh well he doesn't let me drive it anyway. So I'm begging him for a diesel Suburban! Other then that I love to buy the kids little treats when we go to town. Ice cream at the drive through restruant is only $.25 each.
