it doesn't stop me!)

I like books, go to concerts (just dropped $200 to go to one a couple wks ago, that may have been a waste, if I didn't enjoy the heck out of it!

)... I like to get "deals"... hardly ever buy clothes unless they're on clearance. I will buy stuff we don't need.. today, but I know we'll use tomorrow type stuff... for example... I want to put tile back splash in the kitchen.... I had the opportunity to buy a pallet of natural tumbled marble tile for $140...at normal price would have been worth over $800. I know I'll use it (matter of fact we used some to do my MIL's kitchen). And we have MORE than enough to do our kitchen when we redo it.

^ Boo on that!

I just remembered another one: Inlaw Bribery. Up to date I have bought my mother in law: 16 muscovies, 3 Araucanas, 4 naked necks, 2 Isas, 2 Australorps, 3 Guinea Fowl, 7 silkies (2 show quality, 2 buffs)... and I WAS going to sell my Swedish trio for $100 this week but she wants them... so they're going to her.

This is why I'm the favourite.

I don't really consider this wasting money but I do buy alot of bird seed. I make sure my feeders are always filled. Besides my chickens and dogs, birds watching is how I spend my free time. Luckily, we get a wide array of birds at our feeders as we live in the middle of a forest.

Alot of things I read in this thread don't seem like "wasting" money. One of my sons likes to gamble at casinos and has gone to Las Vegas a few times. That, to me is wasting money. He considers it entertainment. I wish he wouldn't even tell me about it.

We buy a lot of books. It seems every few days there is a package coming from Barnes and Noble. I would love to get a Kindle or Nook, but then I'm afraid I would spend even more.

I spend a lot on my kids, but mostly clothes. I have finally realized that they don't appreciate toys when they get them for birthdays and Christmas, so they don't get them a just any time anymore.

Hubby and I are very big movie buffs, so we have over 500 dvd's.

I love to shop, but rarely buy things at full price. I love sales and clearance. About the only thing I buy at full price is sneakers.

We don't go out to eat often, but when we do it is at a local restaurant where the food is excellent, the portions are huge, and the two of us can eat for $20.

Every so often I buy a good handbag, like a $400 sale priced one. I think that's the only thing I buy that I don't need to pay that much for and could do with a cheaper one but I just like em. I have a good car but otherwise I'm not extravagant and save money for retirement, buy on sale, and pay my vet the rest.
