We brought our new little bantam rooster home two weeks ago. He has been at a farm with many other roosters. He seems to be happy with his 6 bantam hens. They stay close to him and he seems to be concerned about we there are if he can't see them. He hadn't crowed at all these two weeks and this morning, I heard him crowing loud and clear! I, of course, want to assume this means he is a happy little rooster. Does this mean he has settled in and really feels like this is his home?

if he is crowing naturally like most roosters do, it probably means he feels comfortable now, and has found his place in the flock...
