Opening the air spots about a quarter of the way on each will allow more air to flow through the incubator.Yes it has two air spots where I can open it but wouldn't that make the humidity drop?

I opened one of the holes but what to do to keep the incubator high in humidity? I know humidity is very important part especially in hatching day.It would get the rain out- ventilation is vitally important.
Keep an eye on it. Add more water if needed.I opened one of the holes but what to do to keep the incubator high in humidity? I know humidity is very important part especially in hatching day.
There is four more eggs but they are a couple days apart from the first two. My first guy came out 2 days ago pretty quickly. I've just been struggling on keeping the humidity high and not allowing it to drop. Ive placed tubs that runs under so I can add water and not have to lift the lid.let that chick go a full 24 hours before you assist. Did you do a staggered hatch? Are your vents open? I'm guessing your hygrometer is not well callibrated. At 65%, it wouldn't be dripping down the sides. It would be very moist, but not dripping, Your humidity is most likely just fine, and that chick needs time to finish hatching. Go read a book, sit on your hands, look but don't touch. How many other eggs left to hatch?
My biggest worry is that I can't get the incubator past 65% humidity without causing the top to be wet.... It's like raining inside it.
You should be lifting the lid. Oxygen exchange is important. There is four more eggs but they are a couple days apart from the first two. My first guy came out 2 days ago pretty quickly. I did open it and removed the water off the top I been watching and letting the humidity fall jusIf its dripping wet, but the hygrometer is reading 65%, then the hygrometer is wrong. Needs to be calibrated with the salt test.
At this point, don't worry about the number on the dial... just get rid of the condensation. A tiny bit is fine, but dripping is too high.

Don't help it, it'll possibly hurt it.It's so exciting though....I see the egg moving and hear the baby. XD
