What does this mean?

Well, Taz our only black chicken has a red spiky thing at the top of his or her head. I believe its called a comb. Does this mean he/she is male or female? My two other chickens their is no way to tell.

its a single comb and all chickens have one a pic would help determine sex depending upon age of chick
