What does YOUR basic tuna casserole consist of?

I have, that is very good! I like to add peas with tuna or hamburger with peas, in mac and cheese.

It is spaghetti sauce and tuna that turns my stomach. Just the sound of it.

I make the basic, canned mush. soup, wide noodles, tuna but I like Ritz Crackers on top crumbled up. mmmmmm

Must have canned peas in it. Don't know why. Heck, I don't even LIKE canned peas.

My Aunt Mary always made it for us when I went to visit my cousins...hers was the best I ever had.
Mashed potatoes
canned tuna
a basic white sauce
shredded cheese

She would layer all the above in a casserole dish with the potatoes on top...melted butter and mixed in breadcrumbs on top of that.
smelled heavenly.
