You all are getting too jaded with this chicken talk.

I had several nice comments on the homestead I'm buying, but nobody batted an eye when I mentioned 2500 chickens and 58,000 dozen eggs a year.

Either that or you all just look at the pictures...

The planter in the middle of my garden ---- it's an old "bend over" aluminum ladder... since it was just taking up space in the shed, I pulled it out --- ran 2 x 4's thru the steps and screwed planter boxes to it....and now --- it's a "strawberry tree"!

It'll take some time for the strawberries to grow and trail down from one step to the next...

ok here's mine it sits on 9/10's of an acre (oh so close ,but not quite )
My cousin lives in the house in the background, and he married DH brother's x-wife, who is a dear friend so the kids grew up calling us auntie and Uncle , they are all grown now. But life is very nice with family so close and truthfully the whole town is related to me somehow, and i love it
