What Duck breed is this??

If they are not caged clipped or pinioned. They will fly off shortly.

I have around 60 chickens. The ducks were no planed. All I wanted to do was just give them a fighting chance (read my first post on this subject). Came home from work today and I guess the 64 degree temp last night sparked something in them to take off. Either that or they will show up later tonight.

You've done a great job and gave them what they needed, if they come back great if not maybe you'll see them next spring.

Good job then Yolk . I think they will be fine. Miss Lydia is right. They are migratory birds but definitely more in your home range area. Ive put zip ties on some orphaned birds before in hope I might see them again.. They came back the next year to our local pond.

Good to hear they're doing well and decided to venture off on their own for a bit. Hopefully they'll come back to visit!
