What Duck breed is this??

Are those wood duck ducklings? I would take them back to the location mother ducks hide well when they are scared or I would take them to a wildlife rehab facility

I should of put the title of this post "What Duck breed is this" also in the post area. I could put them back in the yard and let nature takes it coarse or do what I can for them. Thanks for the reply Lori.

Were they in your yard? You could try putting them in a kennel or something similar and place the kennel near where you found them and then thier peeping would alert the mom and if she came or you can hear her calling back you could release them from the kennel. You would have to stay out of sight though because the mom won't come if she sees or hears you at all. Wild birds can carry disease to your flock of poultry so just be careful. It's nice that you are helping the ducklings.

Im pretty sure they are blackbellied treeducks. Take care of them yourself if you dont see the momma anywhere or they will die. Or a wildlife rehabber.Cause really;"legally" you cant keep em.

They look like black bellied whistling ducklings to me......I would hand them over to a wildlife rehabber as stated before you cannot legally own them

Petesmom you can legally own those ducks, you can't legally take them from the wild (which the OP didn't do on purpose) to keep as captive ducks. Big difference between the two.
