What foods can you feed baby pigeons?

Btw, I WOULD VERY MUCH LOOOVE TO BUY A SQUEAKER! But I could never ever find a breeder. I would give up on this capturing and stuff if someone is selling a Jacobin Baby pigeon in my country... but idk if that breed exists here,
Don't get me wrong but lol I've grown and cared for wild baby pigeons already and released them, from egg to adult...
Im NOT shipping any bird over seas... I can't find anyone breeding pigeons that are selling. I just want a bird that will return to me and cannot get lost.

The best response I've found is on
pigeonrescue.co.uk

Here they give you some do's and don't like don't give them milk. And do's on how
to make your own feed.

I wish you well. I'd like to know what you end up feeding them and how they are oing.

When squabs are 4 days and younger, Kaytee Exact and the homemade MacMilk recipe WITH the digestive enzymes added are really the ONLY options for this young of a bird due to the fact that they include very much needed digestive enzymes that baby pigeons would normally get from their parents. Katyee Exact is nice because it comes with the digestive enzymes already. If the squabs are older than 4 days old and younger than about 2 weeks, Kaytee Exact will still work, as will MacMilk (but you don't need to add the digestive enzymes to it), and at 4+ days some of the altneratives mentioned above may work to provide food that they can survive on, but really the best thing is to provide them a balanced meal, which Kaytee Exact and homemade MacMilk can provide.

Um hello?
I don't care how many birds I stoled and died? Like why does this concern y'all?
I like birds, its not my fault they die (probably), I'm a beginner with raising birds... yea im saying this and it sounds rude, lol im glad my country has no laws of taking birds from the wild. People have done it, why can't I, as if I care less how sad you people feel.
I'll be continuing this UNTIL I am successful... I'm too obsessed with Birds, I can't help it, I want my own to grow and have as a pet or just to be tame and let go.
But sorry to say I'm not stopping. YEA my comment sounds: mean, harsh, stupid, sad etc, whatever!...
I'm just here to get info on raising birds.
If you people aren't gonna help, its only you guys to blame for the deaths(well some of them)... y'all don't want to see achievement happen or no more deaths to occur.
Then y'all can make fun of me how much you want? It will not do anything.
Birds come and go.
*Wink*✌

I do hope my advice helps you and that you get better at raising them, but, in my opinion, you have the wrong attitude about birds and people helping you online. I understand where you're coming from, being new to raising birds and not being as good at it as others and maybe losing some, as there is a learning curve and I'd imagine you'll get better at it, but threatening people that if they don't help you, birds will keep suffering--that is not a great attitude to have for you or your birds.

In sum, while I think you can move forward after having some losses due to a learning curve, if your attitude really is that "[you] don't care how many birds [you stole] and died" maybe you should stop trying to raise birds and see some help for yourself. But I hope that is not the case and you are simply lashing out.

I found fermented moistened to souped depending on age, natural layer chicken pellets, actually was better for orphaned young rock dove breeds, than kaytee exact. I don't recall Mac milk, so off to look that up. Cheers! Rock doves are actually easy to get as eggs, and foster under white ringneck ect inbred tame larger dove pairs, or incubate and hand feed. I've had to do from days to weeks.

So, at the risk of continuing a controversial, and perhaps offensive conversation, why are you stealing birds instead of just buying your own?
I’m new to this web site, and trying to understand.
Are you resqueing birds, or literally stealing birds baby birds from their nests? And if you’re stealing them, for what purpose? Birds can be bought for reasonable prices. What’s up?

Not any birds can be purchased from a local pet market or something.
Having exotic dove and pigeon species is awesome.
My plan is to breed different species of doves and pigeons with different doves and pigeons species, well thats really my plan.
They are Exotic for a reason, it's their beauty! They are gorgeous! Cant get enough of them. If no one in my country has any for sale which they don't, I must go and capture their eggs or chicks and try to raise them.
Since I've gotten the incubator supplies I needed, and put them together, I've got great success with the hatching 2 exotic doves (brother and sister). Since that worked I'm going to get other exotic pigeon and dove species eggs and chicks and raise them, breed them, probably have some hybrids as well,
Build my giant aviary which im still working on and put them their, if my aviary is getting fulled up with too many of the same species, I'll just sell some, or build another aviary in an 1 and half acre land.
Yup
Edit: An welcome to BYC ^^ enjoy it here, many fascinating birds and breeds here, the people here are incredibly helpful ^^, thats how I got 1 exotic specie chicks to stay alive and reach adulthood.

Is there no wat to capture the baby birds with the parents, or I should say, capture a couple with eggs so they can breed? Then you don’t have to worry about the inherent dangers involved with stealing the baby birds from the nests, or problems with hatching.
I’m sorry, I obviously have no idea what is involved with getting the types of birds that you are talking about in a safe manner. It seems that if it were meant to be, you should be able to purchase from someone. Are they expensive to purchase, because if not endangered, most birds can be bought . But again, I know nothing about your country
