What gender/breed are these?

Hi everyone,

I rescued these two as smaller chicks and would like to know the breed/gender. Would anyone know? I’m thinking I’ve a cockerel because of the pinker wattle/comb which is redder than in the pictures.

Could anyone give me some info? Thank you!

You’re correct about the genders, and I’m thinking Delaware’s? But breed identification is not my strong suit.

They have white legs... so I'd say the pullet is a light sussex. The cockerel, with the barring mixed in there? Not a light sussex; they don't have barring. I'd say a Delaware mix.

Looks like a light sussex and a light sussex mix. A cockerel and a pullet.

The one in the front of the other in both pictures is a cockerel the back one is a pullet, beautiful chicks!
