What gender is my BR

Sorry should have noted that No Name was born Oct. 18th puchased Oct. 20 and and these pics were taken Oct. 28th. Dumb Dumb was born around Sept. 26th and purchased on Sept. 28th so after my original posting when I though he was a he and not a she, I bought No Name from the next available batch. (Unfortunatly I had a different one bought on Oct. 19th extrememly dark legs all the way to the start of her toes and one perfect round little circle of white on her head, She did not survive the night just way to small even my older 4 did not take to her that day.) (so i went back and picked out the next darkest one that I could find who was very lively No Name), but I already see differences from when dumb dumb was that small, no tail till just this week and No Name had one pretty much from the start. So Heres for hoping. Fingers crossed.

No name is a she. Other wise I am having very bad luck with BR's They are one of my favorite in looks. And so far very sweet even if a boy.

Where did you get them? From a feed store or breeder?

So far down colour and head spots have not proven successful in sexing.. UNLESS they are really dark, with small head dot (defined) and have VERY dark legs as day olds.

Here are 4 of my grown BRs at a little under a week old. The one to the very right and the second to the left are my girls. They feathered in just as fast as 2/3 boys. Their barring was very irregular before they grew in their adult feathers. See how the down colour is pretty much all the same though?

Here they are at 3 weeks or 4 weeks.. The one on the left is the boy that feathered in the slowest. His barring is the nicest.

To Chillin with my peeps, I am in Az,

To Aoxa: Yes I see that the wings in the girls from the start are black and when the white came in I do see they are not very neat looking very speratic. So once again

it seems I picked another boy. So if anyone wants a BR boy come to me and ask me to pick you a girl

it will most likely be a boy.

Did I mention I am the only girl in my family, 4 brothers, my dog is a boy my child is a boy, my brothers child is a boy. I now probably have 3 girl chicks and 2 boy chicks.

The more I look at my either she is a ((Wyandotte/Sussex/Delaware not sure what she is yet (ps was told she was a light brahma)) her tail is starting to stand up so high, I have pics in another post of her taken 2 days ago or so but today just seems so high and curved. Lol thinks to self might be a BOY also.

I wouldn't say it's a boy for sure yet. Hope I'm wrong!

Dumb dumb is a MR. Dumb Dumb. Hints are the size and color of comb and wattles and that the tail has taken longer than others to develop. Its like the friendliest and outgoing chicks turn out to be boys.
