My Banty Autumn hatched about 4 weeks ago, and she's the only Banty we've ever had. I'm pretty sure she's a bb red old English, but not entirely.
For a while we've thought she was a girl, but she's suddenly getting a lot of black feathers on her chest. My mom thought that since she has so many brown feathers she would probably be a girl, since the hens are all brown an the roosters are darker, but I know they can change a lot in a short period of time.
I really hope she's a hen... We can't keep her if she turns out to be a he
, our neighbors don't like the crowing. They issued a noise complaint.
Can you tell what gender she/he might be?
